In conjunction with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) annual conference in San Francisco, ‘Iolani sponsored a bay area reunion for alumni on February 25 at Roy’s Restaurant in downtown San Francisco. More than 250 alumni and friends celebrated the spirit of the ‘Iolani community in a city known for Victorian style homes, cable cars, and charmingly crooked Lombard Street.

Jenai S. Wall, chair of the ‘Iolani Board of Governors, and Headmaster Dr. Val Iwashita ’67 greeted guests and expressed appreciation for their continued support of ‘Iolani School’s mission which was  founded upon Christian principles and aims to prepare students for responsible, moral and productive citizenship.

Several members of the Board of Governors, along with Development Director Chris Shimabukuro ’85 and Assistant Headmaster Lily Driskill, also attended the conference and reunion.
