An Insider’s View of College

At the college panel were, Director of College Counseling Todd Fleming, Austin Barnes ’06, Harvard; Josh Busse ’07, University of Southern California; Lucy Liu ’07, Boston Univeristy; Lace Yamamoto ‘08, UH Manoa; Codi Limm ’07, Notre Dame’ Lauren Fukuda ’06, Creighton University; Evan Nakatsuka ’05, Occidental College; and Brandon Young ’04, UCLA.
These were topics that recent ‘Iolani graduates shared with the current senior class during the annual alumni college panel on January 5 in Seto Hall.

Director of College Counseling Todd Fleming opened the panel
“What’s the food like in college?” asked one senior.
“The food’s great at my school,” answered Codi Limm ’07, who attends Notre Dame.
The panel was conducted by Director of College Counseling Todd Fleming, in cooperation with the alumni office and the ‘Ohana parent organization. Students shared the factors leading towards their college decisions and answered questions.
Following the panel, seniors met with members of the Class of 2008 in a college fair setting.
